All we need to do is to follow the description in the task pane or check out my post here. Once the Alt Text command is selected, the Alt Text task pane appears at the right of the Microsoft PowerPoint application.
As mentioned with the Alt Text command we can Create Descriptions Of Objects For Screen Readers. Then from the area of the ribbon named Accessibility, we select the command Alt Text as shown below. Once the picture is selected, the Picture Tools main tab appears, and the sub tab Format is activated as shown in the image below. In the image below, I have opened Microsoft PowerPoint, and I have inserted a picture in the Slide. Once the Alt Text command is selected, the Alt Text task pane appears at the right of the Microsoft Word application. All you need to do is to continue reading. Things have improved now with the latest updates and we now have an actual command available for us to use.
